I know Karl Lagerfeld is really into Lily Allen recently, who has been the new face of Chanel Coccon Bags Collection. But I never thought Karl had been that addicted to the glamour of Lily Allen so that offer some place for her to appear in Chanel Boutique on East 57th Street in New York.

Wow, Lily Allen is over the moon, so awesome!!! As one of the Karl Ladies, Lily has been raised up like God. I used to think that if Chanel Boutique needs a mannequin for its shopwindow, the original person would be Coco Chanel herself or Karl Lagerfeld, even someone who has made the great contribution to its fashion career. However, the final option took everyone by surprise, now the mannequin standing elegantly and proudly in the shopwindow is nobody but Lily Allen.
Well, whether you are convinced it or not, Lily Allen has proved herself by action to tell those people who has criticized her since she had the ads compaign for Chanel Cocoon Bags Collection: she is the Deep-Fried Chicken of Chanel at the moment. You love her or hate her, that is nothing related with her coming to the top.

Additionally, the other things along with the Lily Allen Mannequin in Chanel’s shopwindow are the series of cocoon bags. Tsktsk…I do envy her so much…

I think every girl all over the world is crazily dreaming to be the “Karl Lady”. It’s Chanel, don’t you know the superb enticement to us?! Obviously, the latest favourite of Karl—Lily Allen has become the eyesore of the other women. Just think it back: in Chanel new released Cocoon series of bags, this little fatty looked so elegant and gorgeous in the ads. How can we stop the jealousy…
That’s not enough. Recently in the show of Chanel Spring/Summer 2010 collection, our fashion daddy Karl also gave a passport to her to “Caper the caper, sing me a song”. Oh, we are all “ angels” but with different fates. Huhuhuhu~~~~(>_<)~~~~

Look at this totally lucky dog, wearing a shining gold mixed silver skirt with the faddish sequined shoulders embellished by some feathers or sprouting, she dressed herself up as a pop star with both rockin and sweet styles. Well matched with black opaques, two-tone tights, gloves in the same suit and heels, if not her, who else would be the most stunning lady there? So it’s no wonder two poor models even only played the role as Lily’s back up singers. The song she sang is “Not Fair”, which is said to be the one of Karl’s favourite by chance.
However, the background set—a barnyard with full pastoral sense seems to be a little out of the place. Like a cottage Grammy live show, no offense, just the mixed trend thundered me a bit…(⊙o⊙)…

I remembered a few years ago, when Coco was selected by Chanel as the spokeswoman, some ladies of quality were strongly discontented about it because they thought someone who was not really popular could not match the containing and elegance of Chanel. Little does one think, after a lapse of a few year, the same embitterment stroke Lily Allen.
Lily has been chosen by Karl Lagerfeld because “She’s fun.” Chanel has always picked only the best and thus Lily might be feeling very privileged as her name is included into the list that already has big names like Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tatou, Kiera Knightley, and Kate Moss. Besides, Lily is a huge Chanel fan, and due to her music talent like the actress in Orange Road, she utimately became the new muse of Karl although there were lots of rumors about her before.

Lily Allen’s advertisement campaign for the Fall 2009 Chanel bags is finally out. Toting a bag from the collection called “Coco Cocoon”. I love Lily Allen’s homage to Audrey Hepburn’s character from Breakfast at Tiffany’s so much. The modern take on Holly Golightly is a perfect match for Lily’s personality.
Here are some of the first images of Lily Allen for the Chanel Coco Cocoon handbag ad campaign, shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself. Totally lovin the puffy quilted bags, which drive me think of the cotton candy or the soft shermons full of sweet dreams. It is no ordinary Chanel purse. The reversible handbag is contemporary rather than classic, just like Lily Allen herself. I can’t find an exact word to describe the material: cotton, lambskin and nylon? Anyway, it’s so cool and odd!!!

I Can’t wait to see more pics and the full range of accessories. And you don’t know how much I love Lily Allen since I first heard her voice. She looks like a beautiful princess in ads. The new Chanel ad campaign is set to be released in October 2009, looking forward to it…
