In Shanghai on December 3^rd, Karl Lagerfeld launched his 8^th edition of this collection, called “Paris Shanghai”. He has never been to Shanghai, but only by his thinking and hearing from others, he designed this collection.

The film “PARIS SHANGHAI, A FANTASY”, as a prelude to the show, tells the story of Coco Chanel’s dreaming travel to China. It was written and directed by Karl Lagerfeld. This handbag collection shows us the great skill of Partisans and the Chanel ateliers to make a true French luxury.

I like the Chinese doll clutch in enamel, which is so Chinese that rekindle the memories of my previous visits to Shanghai. And the authentic Chinese pieces are the flap bags which are a real classic one on its sparking sequins and colors.
