The House of Chanel in Paris, underKarl Lagerfeld, remains one of the top design houses today. And he is one of my favorite designer as well. To my excitement, Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel’s pre-fall collection entitled Paris to Moscow. The line included this cute Russian doll clutch that Lily Allen was showing off last night. And it’s interesting to find out that Lily seems become the huge fan of this clutch. You could see it from every media that she looked so happy to wear it.

Chanel’s black resin and gold Russian doll handbag is made in the image of the traditional wooden Matrioshka nesting doll and was created for the Paris Moscow Pre-Fall 2009 show. I love the overall shape and design of the bag. The slash leather factor is fairly cool. The strip of leather is tightly placed against the seams. The larg soft lambskim tote bag takes on a pyramid quilt effect. Therefore, it’s no question that when you attend some formal occassions. This bag is a mix bag of elegance and sweet. Neither too serious nor too chidish. I am just worried about how to put my cell phone or even a notebook in it. This bag serves more as a decoration than a bag. Perhaps I’m a little bit practical, aha… and I am wondering where did the inspiration of the designer come from? I don’t want to admit it looks like the traditional Japanese dolls. I strongly advise the designer to come to China seeing our Fuwa, which might be the next series of Chanel handbags…

Mention in passing. All in all, this Chanel cute clutch is really a gift for all the girlie friends. However, if you want to be out of pocket, it’s available at £2,500.
